Shipping Policy

1. Introduction

This Shipping Policy aims to provide clear and transparent information on the conditions for processing, shipping, delivery, and tracking of orders placed through the ADON website, in accordance with the applicable legislation in Portugal and the European Union.

We recommend that you read this policy carefully before completing your order.

2. Order Processing

2.1 Order confirmation

After the purchase is completed, the customer will receive a confirmation email with the order details.

2.2 Processing time

  • Orders are processed within a maximum of 2 business days after payment confirmation;

  • In the case of customised products, processing may include an additional production lead time, which will be communicated to the customer at the time of ordering or afterwards, where applicable;

  • During periods of high demand, promotional campaigns, or exceptional circumstances, processing times may change.

3. Shipping Methods and Costs

  • ADON offers tracked shipping;

  • The available shipping options, as well as their respective costs, are displayed at checkout before purchase confirmation;

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the destination, the weight of the order, and the selected method.

4. Delivery Times

4.1 Deliveries in Portugal and the European Union

After the order is dispatched, the estimated delivery time is generally 5 to 7 business days, depending on the destination and the carrier.

4.2 Maximum legal timeframe

Under European Union legislation, the maximum delivery timeframe is 30 days from the date of order confirmation, unless otherwise agreed between ADON and the customer.

4.3 Delays

Delays may occur for reasons beyond ADON’s control, namely:

  • Adverse weather conditions;

  • Strikes or logistical constraints;

  • Incidents attributable to the carrier.

ADON does not guarantee exact delivery dates; however, it undertakes to monitor and support the customer in the event of a delay.

5. Responsibility for Delivery

In accordance with consumer protection legislation:

  • The risk of loss or damage to the products remains ADON’s responsibility until the goods are physically delivered to the customer;

  • After confirmed delivery, responsibility for the products transfers to the customer.

6. Order Tracking

As soon as the order is dispatched, the customer will receive an email with tracking information, allowing them to follow the delivery status with the carrier.

7. International Shipping

  • ADON ships internationally to selected countries;

  • Timeframes and costs vary depending on the destination;

  • For shipments outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges applicable in the destination country.

8. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct and complete.

  • ADON is not responsible for delays or delivery failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses;

  • If the order is returned for this reason, payment of new shipping costs for reshipment may be required.

9. Relationship with the Returns Policy

The right of return and the respective conditions are described in ADON’s Returns and Refunds Policy.

Please note that, under the applicable legislation, customised products, including ADON products associated with DNA personalisation processes, are not eligible for the right of withdrawal.
