By placing an order, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as all other associated legal policies.

ADON sells jewelry pieces, including personalized products and products that may incorporate DNA-related customization processes.

The images, descriptions, and characteristics presented on the website are merely illustrative; slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted and personalized nature of the processes.

4. Personalized Products and DNA

4.1 Nature of personalization

Some ADON products are personalized according to specific customer instructions and may include processes associated with DNA or other unique and irreversible elements.

4.2 Consent

By purchasing a personalized product, the customer declares:

  • That they understand the personalized and irreversible nature of the product;

  • That they expressly authorize the processing of data strictly necessary for personalization;

  • That they accept that, once the personalization process has begun, the order cannot be canceled.

4.3 Genetic data

ADON does not store genetic data, limiting itself to receiving technical information necessary for the execution of the order, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Orders

5.1 Ordering process

Placing an order requires:

  • The selection of the desired products;

  • The correct completion of the requested data;

  • Confirmation of payment;

  • Express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

5.2 Confirmation

Upon completion of the order, the customer will receive a confirmation email. ADON reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in the event of an obvious error, product unavailability, or signs of abusive use of the website.

6. Prices and Payments

  • All prices shown include VAT at the legal rate in force, unless otherwise stated;

  • Shipping costs are presented at checkout before the order is confirmed;

  • Payment must be made using the methods provided on the website.

ADON is not responsible for delays or failures resulting from problems with third-party payment systems.

7. Shipping and Delivery

The conditions applicable to the processing, shipping, and delivery of orders are described in the Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

8.1 Non-personalized products

Under applicable law, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days, as described in the Returns and Refunds Policy.

8.2 Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalized products or those produced to specific order;

  • ADON products for which personalization has already begun;

  • Products associated with DNA personalization processes.

9. Warranty and Compliance

Products sold by ADON benefit from the legal warranties applicable to consumer goods, under the terms of the legislation in force.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, or interventions carried out by unauthorized third parties.

10. Liability

ADON shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages;

  • Losses resulting from improper use of the products;

  • Delays or failures attributable to third parties or force majeure situations.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits rights legally granted to the consumer.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the ADON website, including text, images, logos, designs, and trademarks, is the property of ADON or duly authorized third parties and is protected by intellectual property rights.

Its use without prior authorization is expressly prohibited.

12. Personal Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which must be read in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions.

13. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

ADON reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect from the moment of their publication on the website.

14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.

For the resolution of any disputes arising from their interpretation or execution, the court of the district of Braga shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory legal rules, namely regarding consumer protection.
